  • The insulation tester replaces the megohmmeter to automate the measurement of line insulation resistance (the electrical insulation ability of a line to resist direct current), and the measured values can be used to analyze line defects; This product can effectively eliminate the cost and safety risks of traditional megohmmeter measurement.

    Design Principles

    The ZX500 insulation monitoring instrument uses DC injection method to measure the insulation of cables or motor windings, with a test voltage of DC500VDC. If the corresponding circuit in the equipment is enabled, the instrument is interlocked with the auxiliary contacts of the circuit contactor or circuit breaker to achieve the separation of the insulation monitoring instrument from the power grid when the motor circuit is powered on. When the circuit is powered off, the insulation monitoring instrument automatically starts to monitor the insulation of the circuit. This instrument can measure three different motors.

    Main functions

    Suitable for insulation testing of generator or motor windings below 1140V.

    Three independent measurements of ground insulation resistance.

    Three independent relay alarm outputs.

    LCD screen display with backlight, allowing for viewing and setting various parameters.

    RS-485 interface communication, using Modbus protocol.

    The measurement process is fully automated and can also be manually initiated.

    Test voltage DC500V.
